Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter is: a 32 bed shelter for women and children fleeing abuse. Ernestine’s is a community-based, women run, feminist organization committed to social justice and anti-oppression.
Ernestine’s promotes the principles of anti-oppression and adheres to the tenets of the Ontario Human Rights Code. We encourage applicants from women of all races, colours, ethnic origins, religions, ages, abilities and sexual orientations. Women with second languages and abilities are encourage to apply for employment at Ernestine’s.
